About you:
Reporting directly to the Head of Paid Media, you will be a member of a focussed, specialist team driving best-in-class paid media performance across various Access Business Divisions. Alongside specific divisional responsibilities you will be providing support and expertise to your own direct reports, constantly looking to develop both our paid media offering and the output of your team.
With direct line-management responsibility of paid leads in your business areas, you will be a subject matter expert on all things paid media. You will be working collaboratively with the wider Paid Media & Digital Teams to support across a number of business areas to drive results. You will also be an integral part of enhancing the paid strategy and practices at Access with a solution-oriented mindset, strong leadership skills and the ability to influence decision making.
You’ll be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders to champion paid media and be able to establish forward-thinking strategy and plans in line with commercial targets.
Day-to-day, you will:
Leadership & Management
• Work as part of the Leadership cohort within the Paid Media Team to support paid media performance, efficiency and storytelling across the business
• Line manage Paid Media Leads within your specific business area and drive to develop a high performing team, with clear expectations set on objectives, ESPs and Path to Great
• Support the wider Digital team and lead the work to establish Paid Media as a consistent ROAS/ROI source for Marketing & Sales Qualified Leads from Digital channels
• Be a champion for Paid Media with senior stakeholders across the business in order to win trust and confidence, highlighting best practice, key opportunities and areas for development without prejudice
• Confidently challenge ways of working to improve efficiency, return on investment and upskill on paid media channels and effectiveness
• Set and manage expectations so deliverables & deadlines are met
Digital Acquisition and Conversion Optimisation
• Create top-level strategies for paid media channels to deliver on key metrics against forecast across the Access group in line with commercial targets
• Ensure robust measurement in place to track effectiveness & ROAS and contribute to reporting and commentary for senior stakeholders
• Consistently drive test and learn activity within both new and established channels to help improve conversion rates and ensure all lead generation opportunities are explored
• Solid understanding of the financial impact of paid media activities, reporting on performance with a view on ROAS for your respective divisions
• Collaboration with the wider paid media team and your own direct reports to gain buy-in for new strategies and opportunities
• Campaign Management & Strategic Leadership: Lead PPC, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter advertising by staying updated with industry news, technologies, and platforms. Manage paid media strategies, ensuring they drive leads and prospects through high-performing web content. Collaborate with divisions to align paid media efforts with business goals, while balancing hands-on execution and strategic development to enhance the buyer journey across multiple channels.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Prepare and lead monthly performance reviews, QBRs, and campaign assessments in coordination with internal teams (Digital, Data/BI, Marketo) and external agencies. Monitor KPIs such as pipeline and ROAS to ensure campaigns deliver revenue. Set clear, numbers-driven goals and report results on a weekly, monthly, and YTD basis using digital dashboards and the latest technology.
• Team & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide strong line management and people development to direct reports, ensuring their contributions support overall targets. Communicate clear performance insights within your division/team and with senior stakeholders. Be a trusted source of information in search and social advertising (LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter) and build successful business cases for campaign improvements and stakeholder alignment.
• Innovation & Process Improvement: Proactively develop and implement ideas and process improvements for clients (Divisions’ HoMs), using a data-driven approach. Maintain excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure all stakeholders are informed of campaign status, results, and plans. Adapt to a fast-paced, agile B2B SaaS environment, delivering results independently under pressure while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Demonstrates a passion for Digital and experience across multiple Channels is a must!
• Ability to successfully lead a team of subject matter experts
• Commercial awareness, Analytical mind + Eye for detail – Ability to see through the Customers’ eyes and articulate via real insight and data, where improvements are needed to achieve a 1st class Website/Content/Buyer Journey experience
• Proven 4+ years’ experience in Paid Media hands-on management roles & Proven experience AND success executing multi-channel digital marketing plans.
