Overview

The Integration specialist is a subject matter expert of data integration solutions and data architecture. You will be responsible for the technical development of any new data integration solution to be plugged in to the overall data architecture of Access Business Systems.

You’ll be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specification, creating diagrams showing key data flows and the implementation of the designed architecture. You’ll be required to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels and collaborate with other data experts across the organisation. 

Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver continuous improvements to The Access Groups data integration solutions, through application of best practice and technology solutions.
• Extract, transform and integrate large and small datasets from various sources.
• Manage the overall integration architecture and maintaining appropriate technical documentation, making sure its up to date and reflects current business rules and definitions.
• Contribute as a subject matter expert for data architecture across business systems. 
• Troubleshoot identified integration issues ensuring a successful resolution.

• Effectively communicate with stakeholders and senior managers.

Competencies and Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
• Technical expertise regarding data model, database design and ETL processes.
• Experience using a variety of middleware tools e.g. Pentaho, Alteryx, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft
• Strong knowledge of and experience with MS SQL technologies.
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM data model and architecture.
• Experience working with various API technologies including REST API/Webservices
• Familiarity with C#, .NET, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT, Java, JavaScript, Python, R, APEX
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of wider team.
