Apply to find out more. Position Summary: Join the Access Family as an Engineering Lead for a team working on our .NET products and services. which are multi-tenanted. This role requires an excellent technical background and experience in developing products built on a technology stack that includes but not limited to C# and .NET Framework, WCF, Web API, REST, JSON, Angular, SSRS with MSSQL as the primary database. You will contribute to the engineering processes and accelerate the adoption of AI within the team to improve productivity. You will be accountable for the engineering delivery of agreed roadmap while ensuring the technical and quality standards are first-class and baked into the engineering process. You will have people leadership responsibilities for the squad including performance management, personal development and agreed team improvements. The ideal candidate will be working or aspiring for a similar role with good experience of AI tools for enhanced creativity, automation and productivity. Day-to-day, you will: • Manage the Agile team driving technical excellence throughout the development process and taking accountability for the deliverables of the team. • Manage risks and dependencies for specific projects and deliverables with autonomy. • Design and develop software solutions to meet agreed acceptance criteria and stories using a range of languages and technologies. • Adopt an AI-first approach and accelerate the AI culture within the team in-line with the business approved tooling. • Actively promote a quality focussed approach within the team, showing ownership for QA activities and collaboration with the QA team. Prepared to test own work and that of others to ensure quality. • Ensure development and QA standards are established and followed within Scrum team. • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and direction to other members of the team. • Manage effective source control, ensuring isolation and ability to manage multiple branches. • Ensure that application vulnerabilities are resolved effectively as per the agreed SLA Your skills and experiences might also include: • Excellent knowledge and experience application development using .NET and Angular • Excellent knowledge and experience of relational database like SQL • Experience applying AI tools to improve team productivity • Experience developing SOAP / REST API’s using .NET / .NET Framework • Good knowledge of application security tooling like Mend, SonarQube, etc. • Good knowledge of test tools and automation frameworks • Experience of Git-based Source Control and Build Pipelines What are we all about?  The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA and Asia Pacific.
