Day-to-day, you will: - Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code; debug and improve existing applications; identify and solve performance issues. - Development & Mentorship: Develop new web components and applications; mentor junior team members; provide technical guidance. - Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and requirements discussions; contribute to team planning and risk assessment. - Quality Focus: Champion best practices in code management, testing, and early defect discovery to maintain high-quality standards. Your skills and experiences might also include: - 5 years of working experience in Software Development - 3years+ Ruby on Rails development experience - Experience writing unit and integration tests, experience with TDD and BDD - Experience with SQL (Preferably PostgreSQL) - Comfortable working on existing codebases - Comfortable working across multiple projects and able to switch between them as required - Comfortable working with cloud hosted infrastructure in a devops environment - Experience working with AWS infrastructure is a plus - Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus - Fluent communication in English What are we all about?
