Our core value of ‘Love Work, Love Life, Be You’ has been central to our success and so we’re looking for people to join us who share our passion for making things better every day and help us continue to grow.
We are the number one UK headquartered software provider in the UK and are forecasted to grow to a global population of over 12,000 employees by 2026.
What are we all about?
At Access, we love software and how technology never stays the same. It's this obsession that drives us to work closely across sectors to understand the business needs of our customers - from the Hospitality sector, to Manufacturing industry, to Not for Profit’s to Construction, and many more.
We're passionate about helping our customers stay one step ahead of the challenges facing their industry and business, currently helping over 60,000 customers to have the freedom to do more.
What does Access offer you?
We are a growing software company, and we deliver on what we say we do! We take the development of our people very seriously and we will work with you to carve out your success plan and an opportunity to accelerate your career and make a real difference.
On top of a competitive salary, our standard 25 days holiday (which goes up the longer you’re with us), and a matched pension scheme you’ll also be able to choose from a range of benefits to suit you. We pride ourselves on being an organisation that gives back so you’ll also have a charity day you can take to support something that matters to you.
About you:
We’re seeking a New Business Account Executive to expand our presence in the Not-for-Profit sector, particularly within Local Authorities, by driving new sales and fostering strong relationships with new and existing customers. You’ll play a vital role in identifying new sales opportunities, delivering compelling pitches for our solutions, and maintaining a customer-first approach that highlights Access' impact and value.
The right candidate will be sales-driven with a passion for supporting others. You'll focus on upselling and cross-selling within current accounts, exploring local government initiatives, and tailoring proposals to fit client needs. With a deep understanding of Access products and the competitive landscape, you’ll exceed sales targets by meeting KPIs related to customer acquisition and upsell growth while strategically engaging through public procurement channels to maximize opportunities.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive demand generation and upsell initiatives, focusing on engaging existing clients for product or service expansions.
• Partner with Internal Sales and Pre-Sales teams to deliver tailored demos, presentations, and proposals that address customer needs, ensuring alignment with upsell opportunities and Access’ strategic solutions.
• Actively engage with customer groups and key stakeholders to anticipate future challenges, positioning Access products and services as proactive solutions, while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the full portfolio for effective upselling and cross-selling.
• Manage a dynamic pipeline of new and existing accounts to exceed upsell, cross-sell, and new business targets, with accurate record-keeping in Salesforce to support forecasting and timely client engagement.
• Professionally represent Access across all communication channels and in person, attending exhibitions, seminars, and meetings as required, with a commitment to high standards and tight timelines for optimal forecasting accuracy.
Your skills and experiences likely include:
• A relentless drive to over-achieve, with B2B and new business sales experience, ideally in a relevant sector, and a GCSE A-C in Maths and English.
• Strong self-motivation, effective time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
• Excellent communication skills across telephone, email, and written formats, with a keen attention to detail.
• A commitment to integrity, loyalty, and honesty, fostering positive and cooperative relationships with colleagues and clients.
• A proactive and positive approach to personal growth, with a dedication to continuous development and learning.
At Access we’re all about helping everyone Love Work and Love Life. Why? Because we believe people can only be their best when they can be themselves. So, if you are excited about this role, but your past experience doesn’t match perfectly, we’d still love to hear from you. You might just be who we are looking for.
We love the fact that we’re all different. We believe by having more diverse perspectives at work improves how we run our business, helps us to better support our customers, and when you think about it, it’s just more fun!
What’s holding you back? Come and be part of our Amazing Access Family!
Love Work. Love Life. Be You.
