Key accountabilities and responsibilities: - Design content marketing strategies that work the full marketing funnel, using customer feedback, market data, and desk research to drive impactful messaging. You will be expected to obsess over the different buying personas, and create content for each customer journey, leveraging approved AI tools to enhance content ideation, creation, and personalisation at scale. - Take ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of marketing pipeline through content. Build out an editorial calendar and execute content ideas — that means writing blogs, producing videos, or building our ebooks and infographics, and repurposing content for partners, utilising AI-powered content generation tools to accelerate production while maintaining quality and brand voice. Ultimately, what formats of content we do and how we do it is for you to shape — so we expect you to continuously test, measure, and learn while implementing content methods you've tried and tested in previous roles. - Work with the digital squad to write best-in-class content for our websites and obsess about onsite conversion to drive tangible improvements to form submissions. Carry out an ongoing programme of content optimisation, considering organic SEO impact, with a focus on driving traffic to our websites and increasing MQL volume. Use AI-powered SEO tools and content optimisation platforms to enhance content performance and reach. - Track, monitor and optimise pipeline from content, ensuring it delivers the order intake required to support business growth. This means obsessing over the full funnel, from MQL volume to average order value, to MQL-to-SQL conversion, all the way to win rates. - Oversee our small but mighty content team — including copywriting, design, and content — ensuring they are trained and proficient in using approved AI tools effectively and ethically. - Support the demand gen managers with their creative campaigns and messaging, inputting into their ideation and creative development, using AI tools for rapid prototyping and A/B testing of messaging variations. - Own the quarterly planning cycle for content, reviewing market and customer insights to build a plan that delivers. Regularly present and share plans around marketing and broader stakeholders, ensuring your plan supports the wider demand gen plans. - Champion the responsible use of AI tools within the content team, establishing best practices, guidelines, and quality control processes to ensure AI-generated content meets our standards for accuracy, brand consistency, and authenticity. Key performance indicators: - Product pipeline volumes vs target. - Measurable growth in awareness and consideration amongst prospects. - Channel-specific metrics such as organic traffic growth, engagement rates, click-through-rates, website user-to-lead conversion, and bounce rate. - Sales/revenue growth, with a clear connection between marketing initiatives and ROI. - Content production efficiency metrics, including time-to-publish and volume of quality content produced using AI tools versus traditional methods. - Quality metrics for AI-assisted content, ensuring maintained or improved engagement rates compared to traditionally created content. Skills, knowledge, experience & qualifications: - Experience in developing and delivering integrated B2B content marketing plans that deliver against business KPIs (specifically inbound lead generation). - A truly creative flair, with excellent writing skills (English as a first language is a must), an editorial mindset, and hands on experience looking after SEO and web metrics. - Demonstrated experience using AI content generation tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Copy.ai, or similar platforms) to enhance content production efficiency while maintaining quality and brand voice. - Understanding of AI tool capabilities and limitations, with the ability to effectively prompt, edit, and refine AI-generated content to meet professional standards. - A natural hunger for making an impact, and someone who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo to hit targets. - Comfortable managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, and experience motivating others. - A quick learner in understanding what will resonate with decision makers. - Solid experience of digital tools like Marketo, SalesForce, and Google Analytics, plus familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools and content management systems. - Proven experience managing and influencing multiple stakeholders - external and internal. - Commercially minded, and able to make recommendations regarding where to invest marketing spend and generate most ROI. - A self-starter with a can-do / take charge attitude. High energy, to fit in with a fast pace and dynamic environment. - Organised and goal orientated, with strength in juggling priorities and deadlines. - Please note that this position is cross-functional and requires teamwork across time zones, so some earlier starts working with colleagues across Europe, Asia and Australia/New Zealand will be required.
