We’re an organisation that likes to give back, so you’ll also have three charity days allocated to support a cause that matters to you.   About you: In collaboration with the Professional Services, Data Engineering, and Customer Success teams (among others), you’ll work on data migration and solution implementation projects. You’ll use a variety of software development tools like MS SQL, PostGreSQL, MySQL, Pentaho, and others. To be successful in this role, it helps to have technical skills specifically in web development, database SQL, Excel and Google Spreadsheets. If you’re passionate about details, want to be highly visible to customers, and are driven with a positive attitude, you’ll do great. Day-to-day, you will: - Engage with customers in a project leadership capacity, working with other Professional - Deliver data migration as well as solution implementation projects - Responsible for assembling the projects’ scope of work, resources, and estimated timelines - Collaborate with Engineering, Product Owners, Customer Success, Data Architects, and Technical Consultant teams to deliver solutions - Manage customer relationships and expectations to ensure successful project delivery - Manage multiple concurrent global projects - Manage customer escalations, driving issues to resolution - Track budgets, project milestones, dependencies, and all aspects of the delivery process for customer engagements - Provide mentoring and leadership to the Professional Services team as well as the larger sales and support teams - Collaborate with Professional Services managers and other departments to develop Professional Services project management best practices - Write SQL or spreadsheet formulas as required Your skills and experiences are also include: - Native-level English proficiency - 3+ years of experience in software project management or the solution delivery field - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics or a technology-related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience - Ability to write SQL scripts or spreadsheet formulas and understand various database structures and schema - Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex problems and create well documented solutions - Proactive, adaptable, detail oriented and very well-organized - Strong focus on automating repeatable tasks - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and multitasking capabilities - Customer-focused and highly attentive to detail - Ability to work under pressure both independently and within a team, in a fast-paced environment It’s a plus if you have these: - Ability to speak in native level foreign languages other than English - An understanding of infrastructure cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) as well as client-side technology - Experience building web applications or writing Google spreadsheet formulas with regular expressions Relevant Skills - Project Management - Change Management Consulting - System Deployment / Migration Project Experience - Data Migration Experience - Risk / Impact Analysis - Database Knowledge: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, Pentaho, Stored Procedure - Process Automation What are we all about?  The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA and Asia Pacific.
