About you:   Access Managed Services are seeking an experienced and competent Professional Services / Network Engineer to join our team to provide technical expertise across a range of customer projects. Leading on network and connectivity, Microsoft 365 and hosted infrastructure projects you will add to our pool of knowledge and deliver great results for our clients. As a Professional Services Engineer, you will report into the Head of Customer Delivery and Onboarding. You will deliver projects end-to-end, inclusive of design work, implementation, configuration, testing, documentation and fully supporting the process of acceptance into service. As a Professional Services Engineer, you’ll be playing a vital role within the Delivery team to ensure the successful execution of the Company’s business mission, ensuring clients are satisfied and their expectations are met. You will have strong customer-facing skills and will be working across the project lifecycle, onboarding clients, protecting and securing their data and ensuring they are satisfied with everything Access deliver. Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems. Day-to-day, you will:    • Provide technical knowledge and input into designing and estimating customer solutions. • Understand customer technology, products, and test requirements to recommend solutions to meet their needs. • Design, plan and execute customer deliverables using Best Practice methodologies. • Responsible for implementing technical solutions, e.g. networking & connectivity (incl. configuration & installation of networking hardware), M365, customer migrations. • Lead and take ownership of all technical aspects of customer engagements and implementations. • Develop solution requirements and estimated level of effort in project scoping. • Troubleshooting and providing resolution to network or system issues, ensuring our internal Technical Escalation Route is adhered to. Your skills and experiences might include:    • IT project delivery experience. • A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications, with proven customer service skills • Experience of administering and supporting the latest Network and Infrastructure technologies. • Experience of administering and supporting the latest Microsoft technologies. • Working to ITIL standards, including Change Management. • Networking / Infrastructure certifications would be desirable • Previous experience of working for a managed IT service provider • A current, valid driving licence You will be required to travel to customer sites, occasionally undertake work out of hours as required to deliver projects. You will also need delivery experience of the following key technologies: • Firewalls (Sonicwall, Meraki) • Switching and routing including VLANs and networking technologies (Meraki, Netgear) • Routers command line configuration (Cisco) • Wi-Fi deployments (Meraki) • Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems • Microsoft Exchange Server • Microsoft Windows VMware vSphere and vCentre • Microsoft Active Directory • Microsoft 365 (experience of Mail migrations, InTune deployment, Conditional Access, Azure AD, SharePoint, backups) • Mimecast What does Access offer you?  We offer a blended approach to office working, encouraging you to collaborate and connect in one of our thriving offices.
