About You: Access Managed Services are seeking an experienced and competent Professional Services Engineer to join our team to provide technical expertise across a range of customer projects. From Microsoft 365 & Citrix deployments, Software installs to Firewall configurations and Virtual Server deployments, you will add to our pool of knowledge and deliver great results for our clients. As a Professional Services Engineer, you will report into the Head of Customer Delivery and Onboarding. You will deliver projects end-to-end, inclusive of design work, implementation, configuration, testing, documentation and fully supporting the process of acceptance into service. As a Professional Services Engineer, you’ll be playing a vital role within the Projects department to ensure the successful execution of the Company’s business mission through delivery. You will plan, manage and deploy IT projects, ensuring clients are satisfied and their expectations are met. You will have strong customer-facing skills and will be working across the project lifecycle, onboarding clients, protecting and securing their data, and ensuring they are satisfied with everything Access deliver. Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems. Day-to-day, you will: Provide technical knowledge and input into designing and estimating customer solutions Understand customer technology, products, and test requirements to recommend solutions to meet their needs, ensuring customer satisfaction Design, plan, and execute customer deliverables using the technologies specified Perform day-to-day management of assigned projects and managing customer relationships Responsible for implementing technical solutions, including customer migrations, preparation and validation of equipment configurations for new installations, changes within the network and software upgrades as outlined in the customer’s Statement of Work Lead and take ownership of all technical aspects of customer engagements and implementations Develop solution requirements, provide estimated level of effort, and provide accurate risk assessments for assigned projects in alignment with our Project Managers or Project Coordinators and internal stakeholders Following standard delivery processes and procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams Apply knowledge of security standards, regulations, frameworks, and best practices to existing methodologies to improve services offerings and outcomes Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve system issues Contribute to revenue generation through utilisation and identification of further product and service opportunities There are occasions to undertake work out of hours as required in the delivery of projects Skills and Experience: IT project delivery experience required Experience in a similar customer-facing role required A strong communicator, both in written and spoken communications Experience of administering and supporting the latest Microsoft technologies Experience of administering and supporting the latest Citrix technologies Experience of deploying and maintaining business system networks based on NSX-T technologies Experience of administering and supporting the latest Network and Infrastructure technologies Working to ITIL standards, this includes Change Management Appropriate Microsoft and Citrix certifications would be desirable for this role, as would experience of working for a managed IT service provider You will also need delivery experience of the following key technologies: Cloud/Hosted platforms Windows Server Operating Systems (2016-2022) Windows VMware vSphere, vCentre and NSX-T Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, and related server roles (IIS/RDS/DFS/NPS) Microsoft Office 365 (experience of email migrations, InTune deployment, Azure Information Protection and related technologies, Azure AD join, AD Connect, SharePoint Online) Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Autopilot and InTune (MEM/MDM) Multi-Factor-Authentication, Self Service Password Reset and conditional access setup and configuration for Office 365 and related technologies Setting up and supporting of Mobile Devices Azure IaaS technologies Mimecast Implementation Microsoft Exchange Server 2010-2019 Backup Technologies (Cove) Firewall Configuration (SonicWall, Cisco Meraki) Switching and routing including VLANs and networking technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP, DNS, BGP) Wi-Fi deployments using Cisco Meraki Switch deployments using Cisco Meraki What does Access offer you?
