About you:
As a Pre-Sales professional, you’ll be a trusted advisor to our prospective clients - someone who brings a deep understanding of business challenges. You’ll work closely with our sales teams to uncover customer needs, demonstrate the value of our solutions, and ensure every interaction drives meaningful engagement. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and consultative flair combine to create real impact.
You will be someone who can:
• Understand of the kiosk and order-and-pay industry, including trends, technologies, and customer behaviours. Stay updated on the latest innovations and be able to offer solutions that align with market demands. You will be able to demonstrate and articulate the value Access solutions bring to an organisation.
• Previous experience working in sectors that heavily rely on kiosks and order-and-pay systems, such as retail, quick-service restaurants (QSR), or hospitality, is invaluable. Understanding the workflows, customer expectations, and unique challenges of these industries allows the consultant to provide more targeted and effective recommendations - QikServe and Access EPOS solution knowledge especially desirable.
• Design tailored POS, kiosk and order-and-pay solutions that meet the specific needs of each client. The consultant must be adept at understanding client requirements and proposing the right combination of hardware, software, and integration options.
• Communicate with prospects in an engaging way both in person and over video conferencing technology.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of the underlying technology behind kiosks and order-and-pay systems. This includes knowledge of software integrations, payment gateways, and system architecture, allowing you to confidently discuss the technical aspects with both clients and internal teams.
• Clearly explain complex solutions to a variety of stakeholders, from business executives to technical teams. This includes presenting demos, creating compelling proposals, and responding to client inquiries with clarity and confidence.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of how our projects are implemented and supported
• Ask the right questions, understand the client’s pain points, and provide tailored solutions. Their ability to offer consultative insights and propose creative solutions ensures the client feels confident in the chosen kiosk and order-and-pay system, driving sales success.
• Be a great internal networker, and build strategic relationships with Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Success teams where appropriate.
Day-to-day you will:
• Translation of client business requirements into proposed system solutions.
• Preparation of specific datasets and databases to demonstrate client-specific concepts.
• In-depth configuration of the software to deliver a specific set of requirements.
• Modification of the software to demonstrate proof of concept solutions.
• Creation of customised workflows and processes using the Access technology stack.
• Demonstrating the above in a client setting or in a webinar environment.
• Providing additional technical or industry knowledge in sales meetings to support the sales person in front of the client.
• Supporting the sales and marketing team at general events, seminars and webinars
• Providing additional answers and advice with ITT’s and RFP’s
• Providing education to the sales team on new product enhancements where appropriate
• Lead discovery processes to ensure we carry out effective customer demonstrations and add value to the sales process, to show the Access product stack provides solutions to the prospects specific and industry challenges.
• Create video content to support the digital sales strategy as required.
• Work with product & development teams to ensure industry and customer challenges are anticipated and identified.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Experience in tech pre-sales, sales, or consulting, ideally in retail, hospitality, or food service. Knowledge of kiosk or order-and-pay systems is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience with self-service or kiosk technology (implementation, support, or vendor side).
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all seniority levels.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and communication skills.
• Able to work independently, under pressure, and manage competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and a positive, professional attitude.
• Committed to personal development and continuous learning.
• Willing to travel and stay overnight when required.
