Let's make a difference together About You: As the Platform Services Lead in the Integration Platforms Squad, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers implementing new feature requests in an existing Integration product, developing new bespoke integration solutions using the Microsoft suit of technologies and being responsible for the technical stewardship of the suite of integrations. The role will also involve day to day leadership of engineers and be important for the ideal candidate to be passionate about growing them. Having prior, in-depth knowledge of API development, Databases (in a Microsoft suite will be advantageous) is critical to this role as you set the technical direction and mentor other developers that have transitioned into the team from other backgrounds. As well as these development activities, you will be deeply integrated into the build, test, and release infrastructure of the app and you’ll be working with other teams inside The Access Group. As well as building high quality solutions using the best practices, along with other Engineering Leads, you will also be expected to be an active contributor to the design of not only the solution, but the process, delivery and future life of the whole platform. You will have a positive “can do, will do!” attitude, and be someone who isn’t afraid to try something new to make something better. Key accountabilities and responsibilities: • 5+ years’ experience in designing/developing high quality, unit tested sets of functionality for Cloud based solutions using Visual Studio, VS Code (.Net, C#) integrated to the core Access Group of products • Driving the design of solutions in a collaborative fashion by working with Architects, Security Leads, Engineering Managers to ensure applications fit well into the broader application ecosystem • Being involved in performing code reviews for others • Design and development of API Endpoints • Being proactive to identify/prototype the best solutions/technology sets necessary to deliver the right outcome as well as being across the technical debt in a seamless manner • Technical Ownership of key systems and the analysis/resolution of escalated product support queries • Being responsible for or contributing to the deployment mechanisms and the release of the solutions • Keeping current on the latest development technologies and techniques • Mentoring other team members in best practice • Working with Product Owner on release management to identify issues, risks, delays, blockers etc. What does Access offer you?
