About you:
• Lead and Develop the Team: Manage, mentor, and support the Bid Management team to ensure high performance, alignment with company objectives, and continuous professional growth.
• Enhance Processes and Strategies: Plan and execute bid strategies, maintain procedures and resources, define best practices, and ensure compliance with frameworks like GCloud14 to improve efficiency and success rates.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with sales, legal, finance, and InfoSec leadership to streamline bid responses, drive adoption of best practices, and recommend improvements based on data insights and trends.
• Deliver Results and Drive Innovation: Oversee bid preparation and submission, ensure quality and deadlines are met, leverage data analytics to enhance performance, and stay updated on industry trends to innovate in bid management.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Bid Management Expertise: Proven experience managing a Bid Management function within the software sector, with a strong understanding of public sector procurement processes (e.g., GCloud14).
• Leadership and Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop successful teams, combined with project management experience and APMP qualifications.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe applications, Salesforce, and Bid Management tools such as Loopio.
• Core Skills and Attributes: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive, adaptable approach focused on driving operational improvements
