Group Tax Manager About you: Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the role’s primary focus will be leading the management of the Access Group’s tax compliance and reporting requirements across the Access Group. The role will also be instrumental in various group level tax matters including transfer pricing, Pillar 2 and tax governance. Access is a highly acquisitive group and there will be extensive opportunities to get involved in tax advisory and M&A related work. Day-to-day, you will: • Responsible for the overall management of the Group Tax matters including direct and indirect tax compliance and tax planning across the Group • Lead the delivery of tax accounting and tax reporting including the year-end income tax provisions and the group tax consolidation reporting process • Work with tax agents and other key stakeholders, manage the preparation and filing of the Group’s corporation tax returns across EMEA and North America • Support with international tax compliance processes in the Group’s other overseas jurisdictions including APAC • Ensure other ad hoc tax compliance requirements are met • Lead on the Group’s transfer pricing strategy, including reviewing the position of new acquisitions, updating transfer pricing processes and ensuring the correct documentation is in place • Work with colleagues from M&A and tax advisors to ensure any tax risks associated with new acquisitions are effectively managed • Lead the Group’s tax planning and restructuring work • Provide oversight and support on the Group’s indirect tax processes • Support the business on any tax related matters including indirect taxes and employment tax matters • Lead the Group’s tax governance requirements including tax strategy and SAO Your skills and experiences might also include: Access is looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, motivated and passionate with a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will positively demonstrate the following attributes: • Qualified tax professional with at least five years of relevant experience • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and operate effectively in a fast paced evolving environment • You will have a proactive approach, inquisitive by nature and with a strong eye for detail • Excellent communication skills to a wide range of stakeholders. This role will require liaising with other senior finance leaders and the CFO • Experience in people and workload management. This role currently has 2 direct reports, but this will likely expand to a total of 4 in the next six months. • Desire to improve processes and systems
