About the role:

We are at the beginning of our journey to build a first class cash apps team for the Paysuite division and you will play a critical role in its success. You will help setup and implement new processes relating to customer, reserve and internal accounts. You will have exposure to FCA financial reporting and compliance.

If you are a person who thrives in a fast-paced organisation, hands on and with the ability to deliver high quality outputs under changing landscape, you will thrive in this role. You need to have an inquisitive mind and hunger to constantly improve process and outputs.  This role reports directly into the Paysuite Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation/ Creation of the reserve reconciliation.
  • Preparation of the and customer account reconciliation.
  • Monitor and investigate reserves to ensure contracts are being fulfilled.
  • Review of customer transactions for any discrepancies.
  • Review and improve cash management process.
  • Partner with other members of finance teams to deliver group objectives.
  • Adhoc projects to meet the needs of this rapidly expanding Group.

 

Skills and Experiences likely include:

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse data and identify any issues
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the willingness to learn other data analytics tools.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to improve and constantly identify better ways of working
  • Ability to use own initiative to develop their own way of working and identify ways to improve things
  • History of reconciliations within Financial services/ Fintech industry
  • Basic accounting knowledge, with the willingness to complete an accounting qualification
