You’re a strong team player who is passionate about providing an exceptional HR experience to our business. At Access we call HR, Employee Success. You’ll answer queries from employees and leaders, all whilst driving process improvements across the Employee Success (ES) function. There will also be time to work on a project basis directly with the Business Partners.
In ES Operations, we’re in the process of implementing a Shared Service model that will support queries from employee, leaders, and the greater HR Team.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have previous experience supporting employees via a Shared Service (SS) model but still understand how to work directly with leaders to drive successful outcomes. Our Shared Service is internally known as Access Assist and will have a tiered approach to queries. In the first instance its Employee Self Service, you know employees finding the information they need themselves. Then Tier 1 and then with more complicated queries sit with Tier 2. This role will support Tier 2 queries.
We expect that you’ll enjoy being a proactive change agent; continuously reviewing how we can learn from our experiences; making things better, every day. You will be experienced in a diverse range of employee relations case management, including performance management, absences, grievance and disciplinary issues. But you’re your Advisory hat on, you’ll always look at driving high performance through leaders and employees.
Day-to-day, you will:
No day is a dull day; you’ll enjoy daily communication with employees and leaders;
Act as a trusted adviser to leaders and provide general guidance and support;
Success will be contributing to the overall Employee Success team and assisting with achieving the overall objectives for the People Plan;
You’ll pick up queries from our case management application and then work them through to success close, all within an SLA;
A true generalist, you're happy juggling multiple priorities;
Once that’s done, you’ll get involved in projects. This could be anything from Onboarding and Data Governance to Mergers & Acquisitions.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
With just over 3 years of experience in the HR environment, you use your intuition to know what’s important and what can wait and you’re comfortable with a common-sense HR culture;
You’ll know when to use your judgement instead of a policy, which at Access can be most days;
A commitment to self-development and lifelong learning;
Strong and passionate character, plenty of self-drive and energy, as this is a fast paced environment
Proactive and solutions focused approach with a high level of attention to detail
You’re resilient and comfortable with transparency, ambiguity and change;
You have excellent IT skills and specifically MS Office
