About you:
A team player who is passionate about customer service who thrives from working alongside and learning from others. You are proactive and have a real passion to make things better, every day. You’ll be either a highly experienced HR Administrator or working at an Assistant level already and who is always looking at process improvement and will enjoy an ever-changing environment which allows for involvement in projects and employee relations casework.
No day is a dull day; you will enjoy daily communication with employees. Success will be contributing to the overall People team and assisting with achieving the overall objectives for the Employee Success Scorecard.
Day-to-day, you will:
Provide first- and second-line support to employees across the region via the HR portal, Access Assist, ensuring targets for case resolution, CSAT, and SLA are met.
Offer expert administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal mobility, time off, sickness absences, changes in hours, references, benefits, promotions, and offboarding.
Deliver seamless support for key moments such as family-friendly leave (maternity/paternity/adoption), April pay reviews, and benefits, while ensuring payroll updates are accurate and timely.
Champion employee wellbeing, guiding leaders on how to manage wellbeing situations and introducing adjustments while escalating concerns to ES Advisors when necessary.

Process Improvement and Knowledge Management:
Contribute to the enhancement of knowledge-centre support by reviewing and creating new processes and practices, ensuring accurate documentation and secure procedures.
Expand the library of knowledge-based articles to promote self-service for employees and leaders, improving operational service delivery.
Ensure compliance and innovation in onboarding, managing, and offboarding third-party workers (contractors, partnerships, agency workers) while adhering to regulations such as IR35 and maintaining security accreditations.
Assist with visa and sponsorship applications, managing new applications and extensions while ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.
- Operational Excellence and Compliance:
Immerse in Access’ operations and data, identifying and addressing inaccuracies, and making necessary updates.
Act as an ambassador for ES Operations by leading or executing ES team projects, including innovative and in-year initiatives.
Be fluent in Access’ data and systems, ensuring internal HR systems are maintained with up-to-date and accurate electronic records.
- Support for Ad Hoc HR Initiatives:
Assist with HR-related initiatives and tasks as they arise, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Support various operational and administrative activities to enhance the overall employee experience.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
- HR Expertise and Compliance:
Demonstrable knowledge of key HR legislation and compliance areas, including Equality, Wellbeing, Visas and Sponsorship, contingent workers, and IR35. Strong ability to follow and apply processes while balancing organizational and employee needs to make well-informed, ethical decisions.
- Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail:
Skilled in critical, logical, and creative thinking to address complex issues. Proactive in identifying risks, asking the right questions, and escalating concerns as needed, with exceptional analytical and technical abilities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Adaptability and Communication: Organized, resilient, and adaptable, able to prioritize conflicting demands effectively while knowing when to seek support. Excellent communicator with the ability to manage and resolve conflict, ensuring strong relationships with employees and leaders.
- Teamwork and Technical Skills: Proficient in IT, particularly MS Office, and capable of performing ad hoc duties as needed. A fun-loving, collaborative team player who embodies the company culture.
