This role requires strong team leadership, excellent project management skills, outstanding editorial ability, and the capacity to prioritise effectively across multiple concurrent projects. We need someone who is commercially minded, flexible, and open to changing priorities while managing multiple tasks simultaneously and working to tight deadlines. Day-to-day In this role, you will be responsible for managing the bid team to ensure an efficient, agile bid process. You will be involved in the complete bid lifecycle, leading complex bids and providing expert bid management to deliver compelling offerings to our customers and help us win business. Reporting to the Head of Presales | Bid | Sales Enablement - APAC, you will collaborate closely with the wider bid team and interact with colleagues involved in technical delivery, business development, commercial, and legal functions. Key responsibilities include: • Lead and mentor a team of bid professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement • Manage team capacity and allocate resources across multiple concurrent bids • Collaborate with sales teams to shape winning strategies and value propositions • Manage virtual teams and maintain engagement to ensure input from relevant subject matter experts • Drive bid/no-bid decisions based on strategic fit, resource availability, and commercial viability • Facilitate solution workshops, clarification sessions, and bid reviews with cross-functional teams • Ensure all submissions are compliant and completed in a timely and efficient manner • Implement and refine bid processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and consistency • Track bid and team performance metrics and report insights to senior leadership • Lead post-bid debriefs and lessons learned sessions to inform future strategies • Maintain a centralised knowledge base of reusable content, case studies, and technical collateral • Promote best practices in bid writing, solution positioning, and competitive differentiation Your skills and experience We're looking for someone whose background includes: • 3+ years of bid management experience • Proven track record of managing and winning complex software bids • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities • Proficiency in bid management tools and Microsoft Office Suite • Strong project management and organisational skills • Analytical mindset with attention to detail • Proactive, adaptable approach and driven by operational improvements • Understanding of procurement processes • Knowledge of Procurement Frameworks • Ability to prioritise workload and work to set deadlines What are we all about?  The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA, and Asia Pacific.
