Tenders are an important and successful sales channel for our business. We need an experienced Bid Coordinator to improve, formalize, and manage our bidding process to increase success rate and submission efficiency. This is a highly collaborative role where you will partner with various stakeholders throughout the organisation to gather information and coordinate resources when needed. Day-to-day In this role, you will be responsible for delivery of an efficient, agile bid process and be involved in the complete bid life cycle, assisting with complex and simple bids, and providing bid management support to deliver compelling offerings to our customers. Reporting to the Bid Management Team Leader, you will collaborate closely with the wider bid team and interact with colleagues involved in technical delivery, business development, commercial, and legal functions. Key responsibilities include: -Collaborate with sales to shape winning strategies and value proposition -Prepare and collate all tender and bid submission documents in compliance with requirements in a timely and efficient manner -Identify prospective customers’ needs from tender documentation and suggest appropriate products and services -Manage the initial tender submission by coordinating tasks with internal stakeholders and communicating timeframes in accordance with tender deadlines -Support the management of prospective customers through the tender and bidding process -Proactively manage current tenders and provide updates in CRM, bid management software, and status reports to the sales team -Maintain a library of tender responses, reusable content, case studies, and technical collateral -Maintain a strong understanding of our products and services, including updates to ensure submissions are current and relevant -Stay informed about software and industry developments, including those of competitors -Support partner relationships to ensure partners include us in their tenders and we engage them in applicable opportunities -Support and educate our distribution partners with their tenders -Provide support to the sales team with leads generated from other channels Your skills and experience: -Experience in B2B tender or bid management (ideally in business software or professional services) or strong sales administration experience -Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities -Strong project management and organisational skills -Ability to prioritise workload and work to set deadlines -Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders -Strong communication and interpersonal relationship-building skills -Team player who can support sales directors, salespeople, and team members -Proactive, friendly, and customer service-driven approach What are we all about?   The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA, and Asia Pacific.
