About you:
You will be someone with solid sales experience in the Construction industry, bringing a deep understanding of its unique challenges. Your expertise will enable you to navigate complex, long lead sales cycles efficiently, ensuring deals progress smoothly. You’ll also be skilled at engaging with senior executives and key decision-makers, building relationships that drive business growth. With a self-starter, hunter mentality, you will thrive on the opportunity to work with the industry's leading ERP system, quickly getting up to speed with the Access construction product suite and offering tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Build and manage a well-qualified pipeline to meet or exceed your sales targets
• Progress opportunities through each stage of the sales cycle, positioning ConQuest as the preferred solution and closing strong commercial agreements
• Develop commercial strategies that align client needs with the benefits of ConQuest and our broader construction software suite
• Stay close to market trends and customer feedback to inform product positioning and development
• Maintain accurate and timely records of your activity and pipeline in Salesforce
• Consistently hit (or exceed) new business targets quarterly and annually
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• A proven track record in selling advanced software solutions into the construction, manufacturing, utilities, or similar sectors
• Strong experience working with senior decision-makers and technical stakeholders in complex sales cycles
• Deep understanding of construction processes, estimating workflows, and commercial pressures
• Ability to clearly articulate the value of software solutions and tailor demos to the needs of the customer
• Comfortable working with CRM and sales tools, including Salesforce
• A full UK driving license, as occasional travel to customer sites may be required
