About You We are seeking an experienced and proactive UX Researcher to join our growing team at The Access Group. In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving user-centered design decisions across our product portfolio. You will lead research initiatives, support junior researchers, and collaborate closely with product teams to champion the user's voice. Day to Day You Will: •Lead research initiatives: Plan, execute, and analyse user research studies across a variety of projects, leveraging a range of methodologies and best practices. •Collaborate with product teams: Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring research insights are integrated into design decisions. •Analyse research data: Analyse both qualitative and quantitative data, identify key findings and patterns and create insights for diverse audiences. •Champion user needs: Effectively communicate research findings to stakeholders, advocating for the user and influencing product strategy. •Contribute to research strategy: Contribute to the development and evolution of the UX research practice within the division and The Access Group more broadly. •Support junior researchers and designers: Guide and support junior researchers, providing feedback and helping them develop their skills. Your Skills and Experiences Should Include: •Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field OR relevant experience. •3+ years of experience conducting user research, ideally in an in an agile development environment •Demonstrated experience designing and executing research studies using established qualitative and/or quantitative methodological approaches (interviews, ethnography, field studies, surveys, usability studies, contextual inquiry, etc.) •Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with experience presenting research findings to diverse audiences. •Experience distilling complex ideas into succinct insights and impactful storytelling •Experience with UX research tools (e.g. UserZoom, HeyMarvin).
