With a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our team and seeking a dynamic Services Sales Consultant to collaborate with our Product Sales colleagues and drive the success of our clients. As a Services Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in scoping, defining proposals, gathering requirements, and managing sales processes for opportunities related to our software offerings. You will be responsible for achieving targets on Services Orders, quote margin, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Working alongside Product Sales colleagues, understanding the customer’s desired outcomes, you will lead on defining the scope of Services engagements, positioning the value of Services, and establishing success criteria our customers can achieve. Key Responsibilities: • You will be responsible for capturing the outcomes the customer is seeking to achieve and for defining the services required to deliver those outcomes • You will be responsible for selling consulting services to both new and existing customers to facilitate their successful adoption of our solutions. The role is to focus on identifying and closing services opportunities from both the customer base and alongside our Sales teams for new business. • Where applicable, you will be responsible for engaging the right SMEs from the consulting teams to architect the best solution for the customer • You will manage the process from opportunity development, service proposal, internal approvals, negotiating through to signature and the securing of consulting resources where applicable. • You will work in close collaboration with the CS/Consulting leads on establishing the work effort, timeline, price estimates and delivery method to ensure a smooth transition from point of engagement to delivery. • You will be responsible for ensuring the outcomes and success criteria you have captured are handed over to the consulting and customer success teams About you: • You will have a competitive can-do attitude, be naturally curious and interested in driving great customer outcomes, with a great ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues. • You will be able to demonstrate and articulate the value Access solutions bring to an organisation. • You will communicate with prospects in an engaging way both in person and over video conferencing technology. • You will have the ability to translate business requirements/outcomes into workable technical solutions from our suite of Access products • You will have a good commercial understanding and be able to negotiate, handle objections and agree pricing for services • Have a solid understanding of how our services are delivered. • Be a great internal networker, and build relationships across functions such as sales, professional services, product, and customer success teams where appropriate. • To be considered you must have experience either in a similar role in a software company, or have previous experience of software implementation, professional services ideally in similar products to the Access suite Day-to-day, you will be: • Proactive in identification, qualification, and maximisation of consulting opportunities. • Acting as an ambassador for Access consulting to clients • Pro-actively updating your industry and product knowledge • Working with the sales team, customer success and professional services teams to generate, develop and close consulting opportunities. • Develop strong business relationships with client contacts and across the whole Access organisation. • Translation of client business and technical outcomes into proposed system or integration solutions. • Feedback to product & engineering teams to ensure requirement gaps identified in our solutions are investigated and considered for future releases. As a well-rounded Services Sales Consultant, your Skills and Experiences likely include: • Previous experience in selling consulting solutions for a Software company. • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the consulting delivery process. • Act with integrity, loyalty, and honesty. • Ability to engage with key stakeholders from a wide range of roles and seniority within a prospect organisation. • Able to work on own initiative. • Ability to work to deadlines under pressure. • Able to prioritise a demanding workload. • Self-motivated. • Excellent time management skills. • Excellent communication skills, telephone, email and written. • Attention to detail. • Develop positive relationships, co-operation with, and support for colleagues and clients. • Demonstrate a positive approach. • Show a commitment to self-development and lifelong learning.
