We’re an organisation that likes to give back, so you’ll also have three charity days allocated to support a cause that matters to you.   About you:  The Finance Business Partner – Cost Management will own the relationships with very senior key stakeholders around cost from Cost of Sales, Marketing, staff costs, headcount planning and management. This role is a pivotal part of the team centrally owning the costs to enable the portfolio Finance Business Partners to keep a revenue focus. This will require a clear understanding of the business strategy and how costs impact the various portfolios. Stakeholders will include senior functional leaders at the executive. There is a great deal of process improvement and the expectation of this role is the candidate will be imaginative and look for better ways to deliver actionable insights. Day-to-day, you will:  - Accountability for rolling forecast for all cost lines and stakeholder management with cost owners, developing trusted relationships with open communication and driving in the annual budget process including a deep dive into costs. - Responsible for the cost management and accruals at month end, including month end reporting and the flash process during month end. - Regular reconciliations to ensure there are no surprises and developing great relationships with peers locally but also internationally to ensure open communication. - Working with portfolio finance business partners to drive appropriate divisional vs functional tension in our matrix structure Your skills and experiences might also include:   - Experienced, hands-on individual (preferably with accredited financial qualifications, for example ACCA/MBA), who enjoys both the detail but also the ability to stand back and articulate the ‘so what’. Relishes working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment within a very successful private equity backed business. - Understanding of budgeting and forecasting and difference between the two - Strong excel skills – index(match), xlookup, sumifs, pivots.
