About you:

• Able to champion good software development principles and cloud computing paradigms
• Highly self-aware and invested in other colleagues’ success as much as their own responsibilities. We expect the successful candidate to eventually mentor junior engineers.
• Equally comfortable with taking the lead in our technical refinement sessions concerning our own area of expertise, as much as taking direction from our Technical Architect.
• As a progressive, respectful, and inclusive team of both hybrid and remote workers, we appreciate open and honest conversations, effective refinement sessions & knowledge transfer, and daily cooperation. We are looking forward to meeting our future colleagues who will share our passion for personal and organizational development.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Building APIs, (Fast API, OpenAPI, Python, Pydantic, Lambdas)
• Integrating with 3rd party services (Stripe, FusionAuth, AWS)
• Work on our migration projects (DBs, services, domains, etc) 

Your skills and experiences might also include:

• Experience with Swaggerhub or similar tools 
• Relational databases such as  MySql / Aurora
• NoSQL databases such as  DynamoDB or MongoDB
• Experience with Terraform / Cloud Development Kit 
• Confluence/Jira or similar tools for project management
• Full-stack problem-solving mentality and Scrum principles
• AWS certification or equivalent experience/knowledge
