CPQ Manager

As the manager of the newly formed CPQ Team within Revenue Operations, your team will manage product configuration on Salesforce and their interactions with integrated systems. This role will manage talented individual contributors and success will require close collaboration with Finance and analytical teams throughout the organization, and the ability to clearly set and communicate our go-forward Product data strategy. The CPQ Manager will have a strong commercial background, ideally with Salesforce CPQ experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with relevant teams to discuss key questions and exchange information to best achieve your team's objectives
  • Establish a deal desk structure in Sales & Marketing
  • Identify and explore efficiency opportunities with an openness to new technology and techniques
  • Select, manage, and develop employees, considering individual styles, strengths, and career objectives
  • Strong willingness to challenge existing methodologies and develop new approaches to test and enhance our deliverables
  • Ability to identify new questions coupled with the technical and analytical ability to answer them
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to broad audiences
  • Ability to establish and build effective relationships within the organization

Education/Experience and Competencies

  • Education level: BA/BS Degree, with some technical knowledge preferred
  • Functional and technical experience with Salesforce.com or other SaaS technology a plus
  • Provide professional, clear, unambiguous, and complete written and verbal communication that ensures the intended audience receives information appropriately
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Ability to manage time effectively, understand directions and work independently with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to re-prioritization in a rapidly changing environment
