About the position: We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As our Quality Assurance Manager for the Platform, you'll work closely with engineering teams across the globe delivering the highest quality products, with a focus on automation testing. With multiple global integrations, we're looking for someone who has experience and expertise in ensuring consistency and quality across different regions. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement robust strategies for quality testing, working closely with our engineering teams to ensure that our platform sets the bar for the company's quality standards and integrates seamlessly with all product implementations. Your approach to testing is comprehensive, focussed on automation, ensuring our products are delivered with the highest levels of quality. You'll be accountable for the overall test plans and quality assurance of releases, collaborating with our global teams to ensure consistency across the platform. About you: You are an experienced QA professional with a strong technical background, with extensive experience in automation testing and quality assurance. You have a deep understanding of software development methodologies and a proven track record of implementing quality testing strategies in a fast-paced, global environment. You have experience of delivering platform components and services used by other teams. You are an excellent communicator, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and have a passion for ensuring the highest quality. You're a strategic thinker, able to develop and implement robust testing approaches that ensure consistency and quality across multiple integrations. You are self-motivated, a strong problem solver, and possess excellent leadership skills to manage quality assurance effectively. You are proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for quality assurance and automation testing in a global context. Day-to-day, you will: • Work closely with multiple engineering teams to ensure quality across multiple teams with end-to-end testing • Be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for quality testing of our products • Proactively engage with multiple engineering teams to understand areas of excellence and where processes can be improved • Hold regular engagements with the engineering teams to help build awareness of best practices and encourage self-improvement • Identify and drive improvement programmes across all areas of the engineering • Advise and guide all quality stakeholders on the approaches the teams should take, to deliver quality deliverables • Drive the development of QA and Agile processes and improvements • Report on progress and areas of risk, including metrics where requested • Provide motivational leadership, mentoring and coaching to the team, including on testing techniques and approaches, and the continuous improvement of these • Work in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures As a well-rounded Quality Assurance Manager your Skills and Experiences likely include: Essential • Experience in automation testing of multiple integrations • Experience of E2E UI web automation • Experience with testing and automation at API layers • Experience creating and maintaining platform services consumed by other teams • Experience working with global teams and parallel work streams • Strong experience of working in a fast-paced, Agile environment • Strong experience of working with SaaS or web-based products • Excellent communication and influencing skills • Excellent understanding of Risk and how to manage it, including Risk-based Testing • Comprehensive testing experience and excellent understanding of test approaches and techniques, including specific approaches for SaaS products • Strong decision-making skills • Pragmatic, positive, competitive, assertive, commercially aware and driven to continuous learning/improvement • Experience of implementing QA best practice within a fast moving, agile environment • Willingness to travel to other offices on occasion to liaise with other teams • Willingness to occasionally work out of hours to deliver software releases • Experience in cultivating a sustained continuous improvement culture • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties • Solid understanding of how to structure automation to achieve robust, efficient and scalable test packs, including the automation infrastructure required • Non-functional testing (performance/load/volume preferably) What does Access offer you?
