About you:  You are an experienced Product Owner in Software, who has a passion for products in the world of payments, a well-rounded knowledge of Agile developments, and an ability to communicate requirements and make decisions. You are experienced in designing and optimising customer flows and creating engaging and efficient customer experiences for ecommerce journeys. Playing a key role in our dynamic Product and Engineering team with support from our group-wide product function, you will play a vital role in executing the strategic product roadmap and delivering exciting and engaging solutions for our payments customers Day-to-day, you will:  • Use your Payment Ecosystem Knowledge, In-depth understanding of transaction types, payment flows and the payments ecosystem to create and improve payment user journeys with a flair for design and UI/UX, the creation of end-user documentation and support materials • Gather requirements from the Product Manager and other stakeholders and own their conversion into stories and supporting documents. • Clearly identify and describe product backlog items, building a shared understanding of the problem and solution with the development team. • Work collaboratively with other development teams and stakeholders to ensure that dependencies are managed, and issues and risks are communicated   Your skills and experiences might also include:   • Technical Proficiency, Strong understanding of APIs and payment processing technical specifications and the wider payments ecosystem • Industry Knowledge, Awareness of industry initiatives impacting the payments environment and practical experience with multiple retail payment schemes. • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a passion for detail, able to logically divide up a problem, identify and resolve contradictions and ambiguities. • Client-Facing Experience, Experience developing relationships with customers and internal leaders, and providing domain expertise during development. Strong communication, influencing, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
