- You've been responsible for a B2B SaaS product as a product manager for at least a year.
- You’re comfortable owning your product, playing a vital role in setting the strategic direction and managing the entire product lifecycle from idea to obsolescence. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing innovative new products.
- You can think creatively and exploit opportunities. You understand how to build a case for sponsorship.
- You’re proactive and driven, and know how to respond to challenges even in an ever-changing business and marketplace context.
- You’re a great leader, able to motivate and further develop high performing cross-functional product teams.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Use your influence, communication and facilitation skills to create alignment and maximise impact across the organisation.
- Maintain the strategic direction and consistently focus on incremental value, you are also able to course correct when needed.
- Own your product’s value proposition.
- Know how to create alignment and efficiency with stakeholders across multiple levels within the organisation.
- Become an ambassador of your own product.
Take responsibility for your own product line for commercial, technical and customer value KPIs and results.
As a well-rounded Product Manager, your Skills and Experiences likely include:
- You understand the context of business performance, including metrics and best practices used in measurement, reporting out and goal setting activities.
- You can measure and maximise commercial success and customer value.
- You’re comfortable with reporting out to the highest levels of stakeholders.
- You can execute a go-to-market strategy, involving stakeholders and functional teams to maximise potential and deliver on the outcome.
- You understand the concept of product marketing, value proposition and have used frameworks and tools to evaluate opportunities.
You are familiar with engineering processes and how cross-functional product development teams work.
