About you As a Divisional Marketing Director, you’ll be an integral part of both the marketing leadership team and the Divisional Management Team, working closely together with our sales, product development and customer success functions to deliver against our ambitious growth plans. Covering multiple markets (UK, EMEA, APAC+) you have a proven track record of leadership, creating and delivering marketing strategies across multiple geographies. You provide strategic direction from both a marketing and business perspective to senior business stakeholders at board level. We are looking for someone who shares our passion and belief in the opportunity to revolutionise the SMB segment to lead the global marketing team within a fast paced division. A proven track record in subscription based, Fast SaaS software products operating in the SMB business segment will be essential. Additionally, experience in ABM, demand generation, supporting indirect sales strategies and leveraging innovative digital tools to drive scalable performance will be critical to success in this demanding and hugely rewarding role. Responsibilities: Strategic Marketing Partnering with the General Manager and Global Sales Director to understand key business drivers and align on targets, resources and expectations. Support the business to better deliver and integrate acquisitions against the agreed plan. Be the voice of the customer inside Access – understand business goals and pain points and create open lines of communication to and from the market. Actively articulate the divisional vision and how Access solves challenges to prospects, customers, and industry leaders. Provide marketing vision and leadership for the product lines. Pipeline and Revenue focus Ensure delivery of the Marketing “Backward Sales Plan” targets through best-in-class demand generation, leveraging innovative tools and techniques to reach the target audience. Collaborate with the central marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice and message. Work with the wider Marketing Leadership team to align targets, resources and expectations. Leadership & Team Build a high performing global marketing team and motivate and inspire them to execute the divisional marketing strategy and plans. Prioritise and manage workloads to ensure strategic objectives are resourced and met in all geographies. Data and Operations Input into the evolution of Access’ Marketing Performance metrics, communicating effectively at all levels and flagging changes that require attention. Ensure compliance with data regulations in all territories through robust processes. Required skills: A proven growth marketer with experience in B2B demand generation role. Small business and mid-market segment knowledge and experience in Fast SaaS solutions strongly preferred. Experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders. Solid understanding and experience of lead generation, website optimisation, content marketing and its role in the customer journey and full funnel – including up to date practical understanding and application of digital tools and techniques available in this space. Able to roll sleeves up and deliver marketing initiatives, as well as confidently develop marketing strategy and plans that deliver strong growth. Commercially minded, and able to make decisions and recommendations regarding where to invest marketing resources and spend to optimise ROI. A natural hunger for making an impact; not afraid to challenge the status quo to hit targets. Demonstrate true accountability and ownership of strategy, plans and outcomes. Measures of success: Product pipeline volumes vs target – both driving marketing sourced and working with sales teams to deliver sales sourced leads. Measurable growth in awareness and consideration amongst prospects. Forecasting accuracy on leads, pipeline, conversion to orders and revenue generated. Sales/revenue growth, with a clear connection between marketing initiatives and ROI. Cost of acquisition and return on spend. Employee engagement scores. Stakeholder confidence in the divisional marketing team. What are we all about?
