Junior Bid Manager This position encourages applications from individuals who are currently based in the advertised country. The role: You will be involved in the complete bid life cycle, leading complex bids, and providing expert bid coordination and management to deliver compelling offerings to our customers and help us win business. Reporting to the Head of Bid Management, you will collaborate closely with the wider Bid team and interact with other colleagues involved in technical delivery, business development, commercial, and legal. Day-to-day, you will: • Work with the sales lead to understand customer requirements, support in establishing the bid strategy and win themes, and develop compelling bids and proposals • Manage virtual team and maintain engagement to ensure input and contributions to bids from the relevant SMEs • Ensure Bids and Proposals are completed in a timely and efficient manner and delivered to the customer within the agreed timescales • Work with the Sales lead to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are clear and compelling • Identify resources required to compile quality tender on time and flag resourcing risks at Qualification • Review the RFx document especially looking for items of commercial impact • Arrange initial Bid kick off meeting. Ensure tasks and actions are issued following BKO • Chair all relevant internal meetings • Ensure bid response complies with customer requirements • Provide that WOW factor to our customers every time Your skills and experiences might also include: • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe applications, Salesforce, Production of compelling presentation materials as appropriate • Excellent written English skills • Excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritise activities based on the greatest commercial benefit to Access • Self-motivated • Have the creativity and desire to continually improve on corporate presentation styles and digital content • Project and time management skills – juggling different bids and priorities at the same time • Managing, guiding and advising throughout a bidding process • Accuracy and attention to detail, with particular experience of reviewing, editing and proof reading documents • Proactive, adaptable and driven by operational improvements • Ability to work as part of a team, and drive decisions • Ability to prioritise workload and work to set deadlines At Access, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
