About you: You should have experience of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models, and be aware of current developments and initiatives in the field. You should have good working knowledge of healthcare or social care processes, data collection and workflow. You should have an ethical and quality approach to AI/ML implemntations, and be able to articulate the risks and benefits of AI. You should be familiar with testing for bias and AI safety issues. You should have awareness of data quality, training processes, computational load, optimsation approaches and deployment models for AI/ML systems. You will be a self starter, with evidence of successful delivery of programmes and driven to succeed. You should be familiar with information governance and data protection issues as well as confidentiality, consent and safeguarding issues. Day-to-day, you will: • Work to bring AI/ML elements to applications across the Health Support and Care domians. • Build and train prototype models and Proof of Concept systems to demonstrate capabilities of AI/ML extensions and new products . • Evaluate performance, quality and stability of AI/ML components and advise on test approach and deployment. • Act as advocate and educator for AI/ML possibilities across the Product and Engineering department. • Present at conferences the AI advances and approach of The Access Group. Your skills and experiences might also include: • Familiarity with AI programming languages, tools and frameworks. Ideally this will include Python, C++ and Java. • Production of at least one working AI/ML system. • Understanding of and familiarity with AI/ML architectures including Deep Neural Nets, (Convolutional, Generative Adversarial Networks, and Diffusion models). • Ability to test and verify AI/ML systems for quality and robustness of outcome, including long terms stability and response to changing inputs. • Experience with trade offs for training and deployment computational load and optimisation of AI/ML systems for deployment What does Access offer you?
