About you:

  • As a member of the Sales Team, you will be responsible for finding net new business and cross-sell opportunities for the Bookboon Learning solutions predominantly within Germany and other European territories. The role is based in our Romania office and this is an excellent opportunity to accelerate your career through a progressive software company with a proven record of growth, investment, and stability. You’ll be a new business hunter with the ability to win quickly.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Create demand for the Bookboon Learning product
  • Run first meetings to introduce the solution, provide demo’s and follow up with customers afterwards to progress the sale
  • Meet or exceed targets relating to order intake, self-generated opportunities and other measures
  • Ensure salesforce pipeline is kept up to date
  • Use prospect database to generate new business.
  • Ensure agreed pricing structure is adhered to. 
  • Find innovative solutions to achieve sales targets
  • Effectively manage a pipeline of prospect clients.
  • Manage a database that constantly evolves with any changes to personnel or additional contacts.
  • Capture specific e mail addresses to be held to aid marketing effort.
  • Ensure contact is informative and follow up action is always agreed and all activity/outcomes/next steps agreed are logged.
  • Arrange software demonstrations and deliver with a confident and positive approach.  Value and Insight are accurately referenced throughout.
  • Have confidence and a persuasive manner.

 

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Fluent spoken and written English and German and have the ability to create professional proposals, emails etc in both languages;
  • Previous experience of using proven sales methodology to move an opportunity through the sales process and close deals within aday sales cycle;
  • A good level of understanding of the buying process within customers and the ability to seek out and gain commitment from decision makers;
  • A successful track record in hitting and exceeding sales targets;
  • Hit/exceed predetermined sales targets in line with company growth targets;
  • Develop and implement a prospect contact strategy ensuring prospect contact KPIs are achieved/exceeded;
  • Contribute to the positive culture of the team and be a team-player who works collaboratively with colleagues;
  • Ensure forecasts are accurate and timely.
