About you:

We are looking for the brightest and best! You will ideally be completing your studies this year and you’ll be looking for that steppingstone to your future career. Or you may be entering your 3^rd or 4^th year of tertiary studies in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or a related field, and you may be looking for relevant work experience. We are open to discussing flexible hours for the right candidates, to suit your university timetable.

About the role:

Development Intern: If you have a keen interest in careers in Software Development and you are looking for a 10-week internship beginning in early Jan 2024, then this may be the opportunity for you

Your Day to Day

This internship with Unleashed Software (a member of our Access group of companies), will see you working closely with other developers in one of our tight-knit teams on a series of different activities. This could include anything from feature updates, integrations or debugging. It’s an exciting opportunity for you to be part of something and work with a great development team. Over 10 weeks as an intern, you will be able to bring your ideas to the table and experience what working in one of NZ’s success stories is like!

Your skills and experience may include:

• Ideally, you’ll have 2-3 years’ study/experience in software development.
• C# .NET programming experience
• Exposure/ experience to Web development
• Problem solving skills and initiative.
• Proven success and growth in studies (B+ average or higher
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Knowledge of agile style methodologies would be a bonus!

Some more very important details:

• Our paid intern programme will run from early January 2024 to mid-March 2024 ( a 2 week end of year company break inclusive)
• Applications are to be submitted no later than the end of the day, Monday 10^th October.
