You bring deep expertise in privacy regulations and the strategic thinking to translate complex compliance requirements into practical, scalable solutions. You have extensive knowledge of UK GDPR, EU GDPR and PECR, with proven experience of implementing and continually improving data protection frameworks in dynamic technology environments. You're someone who thrives on autonomy, can navigate ambiguity, and has the gravitas to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. You combine technical expertise with business acumen, understanding how to balance compliance requirements with commercial objectives. Day-to-day, you will: • Lead the evolution of Access' data protection compliance framework, identifying gaps and driving strategic improvements across our global operations • Design and implement comprehensive risk assessment processes, proactively identifying and mitigating data protection risks before they impact the business • Take ownership of complex Data Subject Rights cases and develop streamlined processes that scale with our rapid growth • Act as the go-to data protection expert for business units, providing authoritative guidance on privacy-by-design principles and compliance strategies • Drive cross-functional initiatives to embed data protection best practices into product development, sales processes, and operational workflows Your skills and experiences might also include: • Experience leading data protection initiatives in high-growth SaaS or technology companies • Professional data protection certifications (CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent) • Track record of successfully managing complex privacy impact assessments and regulatory interactions • Experience with privacy-by-design implementation in software development environments What are we all about?  The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA and Asia Pacific.
