Overview
This exciting role for The Access Group will bring a new level of creativity to our in-house video and motion services, turning business objectives into compelling stories that deliver results. You will be responsible for executing creative design projects, ensuring the highest level of visual aesthetics. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling visual designs that align with our brand strategy and engage our target audience.
You will be a creative who loves to come up with exciting, fun ideas to engage our audiences, you will also have a keen eye for detail–testing formats to improve engagement and optimise performance.
Day-to-day you will:
Create visually stunning designs for various mediums, including but not limited to digital platforms, print collateral, advertising campaigns, presentations, and videos.
Apply a deep understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition to deliver high-quality designs that effectively communicate key messages.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and content creation, to understand project objectives and translate them into innovative, visually appealing designs.
Work collaboratively with team members to ideate and brainstorm concepts and provide constructive feedback to enhance the creative process.
Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in visual brand elements, tone, and messaging across all design assets. Continuously evolve and refine the brand identity to keep it fresh and relevant.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs within set deadlines. Proactively communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the design process.
Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Apply new and innovative design techniques to create cutting-edge visuals that resonate with our target audience.
Your skills and experiences are likely to include the following:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Extensive experience (3+ years) in a creative design role, preferably in an agency or design studio setting.
Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or similar software.
Strong portfolio showcasing diverse creative design projects, demonstrating expertise in branding, digital design, typography, and layout composition.
Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into compelling visual designs.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and experience with responsive design is a plus.
Knowledge and/or experience in motion graphics/animation techniques is a plus.
