We are looking to hire a dedicated content writer who can compose content for various online channels, for instance long-form and short-form blogs, articles, social media posts, and company website content. As the Content Writer for APAC at The Access Group, you're not just a writer; you're a critical contributor to our growth. Your mission? Craft high-performing, high-quality content using your writing experience. Objectives of this role •Produce quality writing that connects with target audiences, boosts engagement, and enhances brand awareness. •Promote The Access’ Group’s mission and vision through clear, compelling content. •Generate pitches based on current events and market trends. •Increase website traffic by following SEO best practices. •Complete writing assignments within content brief specifications and deadlines. •Market our products and services through blog posts, video scripts, ebooks, social media posts and more. Day-to-day responsibilities •Collaborate with our Content Lead, SEO Lead, and other key stakeholders to produce compelling content for our Accountants and Finance marketing divisions. •Work with Content Strategist to build editorial content calendars for our business divisions. •Conduct in-depth industry research for content creation and convey your findings accurately. •Adapt and create culturally relevant content that is optimised for local SEO for key markets. •Ensure alignment and consistency in branding, style and messaging. •Stay current on marketing and general industry trends that augment content development. Additional responsibilities •Creating a range of “always-on” marketing materials, giving you a chance to work on diverse projects. •Optimise content for SEO. •Collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality, SEO-optimised content, fostering a sense of community and share goals. •Converting complex information into well-crafted articles that anyone can understand. •Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies. •Using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website. •Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the target audience's attention. Skills and qualifications •Exceptional written communication skills. •Proficiency in reading and writing in English. •Passionate about writing, able to take in feedback from other writers and editors and adjust accordingly. •Impeccable use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling. •Strong attention to detail and copyediting skills. •Ability to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects concurrently and work autonomously in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. •Creative and strategic-thinking skills. •Proficiency in SEO best practices. •Ability to understand key content metrics. Professional qualifications and experience •Educational Background: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Business. •CMS & Social Platforms: Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Google Analytics and Hootsuite. •Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a digitally focussed content writer or copywriter. Preferred skills and experience •Previous experience writing for the finance industry. •Previous experience writing about technology and software. •A portfolio of relevant writing samples. •Previous experience using SEO and Content Optimisation tools (SERanking, SEMRush, Grammarly) to ensure content is best placed to drive organic traffic.
