About you: You will be flexible and confident working in a fast-paced busy environment where you will need to multi-task and meet deadlines. You will have excellent interpersonal and networking skills and a creative approach to reaching new and existing audiences - both in your local market and globally. Day-to-day, you will: • Be the internal communications point of contact in our new GO Centre in Kuala Lumpur supporting the GO Centre MD to engage and communicate with local colleagues, while at the same time elevating Kuala Lumpur success and MD visibility across all Access's global channels. • Be part of the wider Global Communications and Engagement Centre of Excellence within the Employee Success function and will report directly to the APAC Internal Communications and Engagement Partner • Be based locally in Kuala Lumpur and will require a minimum of three days per week in our new, state-of-the-art Kuala Lumpur GO Centre. The role focuses on communications and event creation and delivery and includes: • Support the Kuala Lumpur MD to create and execute a compelling storytelling and communications plan to engage local colleagues and ensure colleagues in the GO Centre have a fantastic employee experience while working for us. • Support the Kuala Lumpur MD with colleague events and internal speaking opportunities such as all-hands, Kick Off and key culture moments in time. • Monitoring and respond to requests from the business into the communications inboxes, working with key stakeholders and the global team to draft and schedule comms. • Co-ordinate and maintain a local Kuala Lumpur internal comms and engagement plan and events schedule which aligns to global activities. • Create high quality communications content and events which are audience focussed and generate clarity, excitement and engagement in the Kuala Lumpur GOC. • Manage local internal comms channels - ensuring content is timely and engaging and aligns to the Access internal brand (tone, style and tone of voice); and looking at ways to develop existing channels or introduce new ones. • Draft content for internal newsletters, campaigns and emails using our internal digital newsletter tool. • Measure the success of your communications and events using a variety of analytics, ensuring key stakeholders understand the impact and recommend continual improvement. • Work closely with the Global Giving Business Partner and Giving Champions to support local giving initiatives. We'd love to hear from you if you have: • A passion for creative writing/thinking/content creation. • Excellent communications skills both written, visual and verbal. • Event experience and a strong commitment to improving the employee experience. • Strong senior stakeholder management. • The ability to see things a little differently - add excitement and sparkle to create great content. • A variety of design software skills - Canva, Staffbase, Pagetiger, video editing. • Digital platforms - experience of developing, building and maintaining intranet solutions such as Sharepoint. • Event management. • Experience in working with complex subject matters and creating clear and compelling messages to drive engagement and understanding across a broad audience group. • Project management experience to prioritise and drive communication initiatives and deliver work on time and to budget. • Bags of fun, energy and innovation and want to be part of an expanding, impactful global communications centre of excellence.
