You’ll be working with our rapidly growing digital care monitoring product - an assistive technology solution which supports older and vulnerable individuals stay independent for as long as possible. Our digital care monitoring product can learn an individual’s behavioural patterns, via it’s own IoT platform, enabling it to spot changes which could be cause for concern.

About you: 

A Business Analyst or with experience in a comparable position, you’ll have worked with SAAS, B2B or B2C products. We want to hear about what you’ve built. You should have an in depth understanding of agile teams and explain the purpose of sprints, refinement, estimation and incremental delivery.  

 

You will develop key systems and use your business knowledge and technical understanding to drive future enhancements of the business processes and customer facing solutions as well as working with the sponsors and project teams to define project goals, scope and timelines.  

Day-to-day, you responsibilities will include: 

 

Work closely with the Product Manager to understand the key customer problems we are seeking to resolve within our products. 

Help to define the best way to solve these key customer problems through collaboration with your internal and external stakeholders and conducting detailed analyses.

 

Work within a Product Engineering squad with the related Engineers and QAs, communicating requirements to your team, eliciting feedback and refining without losing the essence of the core requirement.  

Adapt, refine and prioritise your backlog through review with the Product Manager, Engineering Leads and project stakeholders. 

 

Immerse yourself in Agile delivery activities such as sprints, stand-ups, showcases and retrospectives.  

Review test plans and conduct new feature reviews to ensure required product functionality is correctly covered. 
Support your colleagues outside of Product Engineering by being the internal product expert, through such activities as creating product documentation. 
 
As a well-rounded Business Analyst, your Skills and Experiences likely include:  

 

Significant experience working in a digital/software product development environment.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 

 

Excellent team player that wants to work collaboratively with their team to reach to best outcomes for our customers. 

Technical knowledge so you can understand context and challenges of software solutions (components, data flows, integration, etc). 

 

Solid ability to identify and refine User Stories that follow INVEST principles.  

Experience working with a range of stakeholders and teams across the business.  

 

Experience creating documentation to communicate detailed concepts.  

Experience with Jira, Confluence and diagramming tools such as Visio, Gliffy, etc.   

 

Experience running workshops, facilitation and stakeholder management/communication, even in a non-product development environment.
