What are we all about?
Day to Day
- Prepare and collate all tender and bid submission documents in compliance with the requests and requirements
- Identify prospective customers’ needs from the tender documentation and suggest appropriate Definitiv products and services
- Effectively manage the initial tender submission by coordinating tasks with internal stakeholders that need to be engaged on a tender submission and communicating timeframes in accordance with the tender deadlines
- Manage and nurture prospective customers through the tender and bidding process
- Proactively manage current tenders and provide updates in the CRM and status reports to the sales team
- Build and maintain a library of tender responses and supporting material that can be used throughout the tender process
- Maintain a strong understanding of our products and services, including updates to ensure submissions are current and relevant
- Stay abreast of software and industry developments including that of competitors
- Nurture partner relationships to ensure partners are including us in their tenders and we are engaging them in applicable tenders
- Support and educate our distributive partners with their Definitiv-based tenders
- Provide support to the sales team with leads generated from other channels
- Ideally more than 3 years’ experience in B2B tender and bid management (Ideally in business software or professional services industry)
- Great with negotiating with prospective customers throughout the tender process and specifically the commercial stages
- Be willing to take on difficult questions and seek help from the right internal resources
- Skilled at managing projects and developing internal timeframes to meet external tender deadlines
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, delegate, schedule, and plan
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong grammatical and proofreading / editing skills
- Be strong at communicating and building interpersonal relationships
- Friendly and customer service driven
- Payroll, HR, Workforce Management, SaaS and/or ERP experience preferred but not essential
- Team player, able to support team members and the wider business
