We’re an organisation that likes to give back, so you’ll also have one charity day allocated to support a cause that matters to you.     About you:  In this role, you’ll be responsible for meeting targets across software subscriptions, bureau processing, and consultancy services. You’ll manage the full sales process, build strong relationships with customers, and work closely with our presales and consultancy teams. You’ll need a good understanding of our products and relevant third-party tools. We’ll expect you to respond to enquiries quickly, support the wider team with feedback, and host meetings with people at all levels, including C-suite. Once a deal is done, you’ll make sure the handover to our projects team runs smoothly. You’ll give great customer service at every stage and may need to attend events, host demos, or support colleagues with site visits, which could mean staying away from home now and then. You’ll also follow all our company policies and ways of working. Day-to-day, you will:  • Take initiative daily, staying self-motivated with a positive and resilient mindset to meet goals and overcome challenges. • Deliver effective solutions to clients within your target market, using your knowledge of their needs and business challenges. • Apply a solid understanding of business processes and best practices to recommend improvements and add value. • Work independently to manage your own workload while collaborating closely with team members to achieve shared goals. • Communicate clearly and professionally, building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels. • Confidently present ideas and proposals in meetings, both verbally and through written communication. • Maintain high attention to detail when creating documentation, reports, or customer communications. • Use Microsoft Office and other tech tools daily to manage tasks, track progress, and stay organised. • Travel to customer meetings or events when needed, requiring a valid UK driving licence. Your skills and experiences might also include:   • Experience engaging confidently with C-suite stakeholders and managing large, complex customer engagements • A strong track record in field sales, successfully managing multiple stakeholders and complex deal cycles • Commercially astute, with the ability to forecast accurately and structure multi-year contracts • Skilled in negotiating commercial terms, including complex agreements and conditions • Ideally, experience selling HCM or related software solutions • Self-driven and able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively within a small team • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritise a busy workload • Clear and professional communicator across phone, email, and written channels, with strong attention to detail • Builds trusted relationships with both colleagues and customers, always acting with integrity and professionalism • A proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset and commitment to personal development • Comfortable with regular travel, including occasional overnight stays What are we all about?  The Access Group is one of the largest UK-headquartered providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA and Asia Pacific.
