I joined the access group in 2021 as a Training Consultant in the Legal Department and have loved the company since!  One of the reasons I love Access is the charity day policy provided to me annually.  We are encouraged to take a day off to support a charity of our choice, within work time.

In my free time, I volunteer up to 50 days a year for the Army Cadet Force, in my role as Training Officer for the organization, I plan and run weekend training camps, and oversee the development of 220 cadets aged 12-18.

The Army Cadet Force aims to develop young people by inspiring them to achieve further and developing them into a good citizens.

The Access Group supports me in my volunteer role by giving me my charity day per year, which allows me to further give my time.   This year I used my day to attend a 4 day camp that I otherwise would have had to take annual leave for.

I would encourage all my colleagues to use their charity day for a cause they are passionate about and make a difference in their local community.
