The role:

Reckon APS is the leading provider of Practice Engagement Solutions to Australia and New Zealand’s top 500 Accounting Firms and we are now part of The Access Group.

As part of the Client Service Team, this role is to provide a professional level of service to all Reckon Accountants Group clients by responding to varied requests for information, products and services and Service Level Agreements!

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Provide ongoing post sales support for Reckon Accountants Group’s clients, following completion of product implementation
  • Provide technical and software support to clients, including management of issues from initiation to closure
  • Initiate and implement timely resolutions to customer issues ensuring customer is communicated with at all times
  • Provision of accurate information to clients and feedback to the business
  • Contribute to and improve process efficiencies and assist the development of the business.
  • Utilize internal systems to resolve issues in conjunction with the Senior Support Analysts and product management team
  • Develop documentation to company standards
  • Contribute to, and make use of, internal knowledge systems
  • Develop relationships with clients and third party vendors
  • Be able to work flexible working hours

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products and server technologies are essential
  • A solid understanding of Account and Taxation standard/ principles.
  • 1+ years industry experience in a application support role
  • Proven track record in established support environment
  • In-depth knowledge of software and sound interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal communications and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects to independently meet deadlines and complete tasks in an accurate manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse staff, colleagues, and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems/issues, gather data and information, evaluate and recommend alternative solutions
  • Demonstrated skill in accurate record keeping with strict attention to detail, organize and maintain efficient files and record
