About you:

As a mid-level SQL developer, you will work under the guidance of senior team members to assist in the development, maintenance, and optimization of database systems. This role is ideal for individuals eager to grow their skills in SQL programming and database management.

Day-to-day, you will:

· Developing and supporting our Reports Repository product for our Mosaic case management system.

· Designing and maintaining relational databases.

· Optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity.

· Writing complex queries, procedures, and triggers.

· Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

· Working in a cross functional team in an agile methodology.

· Working with global teams across different time zones.

· Take on responsibility in the technical design approach and reviewing work of other members of the team

· Helping to refine and size up stories, work and projects.

· Developing unit tests alongside our code and following our quality gates and ever improving automated scans and checks.

· Learning about our Mosaic system and the domain of Social Care.

As a well-rounded Mid-level Developer, your Skills and Experiences likely include:

· Proficiency in SQL for querying, optimization, and data manipulation.

· Experience in writing new stored procedures, functions and Error Handling.

· Proficiency in database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

· Experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex databases and schemas.

· Desirable in query optimization, indexing strategies, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks

· Experience of version control systems like Git, Github etc for managing database code changes.

· Experience in agile methodology

· Excellent communication and written skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
