Apply to find out more. About you: The successful candidate will join a team building a highly innovative, cloud-based platform, focusing on delivering high-quality APIs and web applications. As part of inCase (an Access Group Company), you’ll contribute to a dynamic product portfolio while maintaining a start-up-like culture. This hybrid role will see you working across both backend (PHP) and frontend (VueJS) technologies, ensuring seamless integration and an excellent user experience. Key accountabilities and responsibilities: • Develop and maintain high-quality, secure web APIs and applications using PHP (Laravel) and VueJS. • Analyse and enhance existing software applications. • Design scalable, testable, and efficient code. • Identify and resolve programming bugs. • Support and improve Continuous Delivery pipelines and AWS infrastructure. As a Software Engineer, your Skills and Experiences likely include: • Strong software design abilities, including API design, naming conventions, and managing code coupling. • Proven experience in developing APIs, with strong PHP and Laravel skills. • Familiarity with VueJS and modern frontend development practices. • Strong understanding of SQL or relational databases. • Exposure to or experience with Docker, Elastic Container Services, Lambda, and RDS. (Training will be provided where necessary.) • Passion for software development, with a keen desire to learn and improve.
