We’re an organisation that likes to give back, so you’ll also have one charity day allocated to support a cause that matters to you.     About you:  As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing high-quality software solutions using predominantly Microsoft middle-tier and backend technologies built on .NET. You will collaborate with various teams to understand business needs and deliver software that helps our customers thrive. Day-to-day, you will: · Design and develop software solutions using .NET Core, Web APIs, and SQL Server, adhering to our preferred design patterns and coding standards. · Work in an Agile (Scrum) team, actively contributing to requirements discussions and taking responsibility for understanding scope, risk, and complexity of changes. · Ensure the agreed agile delivery process and approach is followed, including estimation/planning, Scrum activities, release, and project management. · Analyse, identify, and fix root causes of defects throughout the various layers of an application. Your skills and experiences might also include:   · Accomplished in building high-quality software using Microsoft technologies (.NET, ASP.NET, Web APIs). · Strong understanding of relational database design, query optimization, and indexing, with experience in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL. · Familiarity with Azure services, automated build (CI) and deployments, Azure DevOps/Jenkins, and Git-based source control. · Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
