About you:
As a Software Engineer joining ClassForKids as part of the Access group, you will contribute to the continued growth of our platform as we continue to scale. ClassForKids’ mission is to make booking children’s classes as accessible as possible by providing a user-friendly software solution for children’s activity organisers to reduce their administrative burden and focus on delivering classes in their chosen field and offering a seamless and flexible payment experience for parents.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on requirements
• Create, review, and maintain required technical documentation
• Develop software using disciplined software development processes, adhering to team/company standards and software best practice guidelines
• Improve, maintain, and refactor existing functionality
• Work closely with Agile teams consisting of a Product Owner, Team Lead, Developers and QAs, ensuring that you contribute to all Agile Ceremonies..
As a well-rounded Software Engineer, your Skills and Experiences likely include:
• React, Next.js
• HTML, JS and CSS
• Typescript
• Python
• SQL
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• AWS, Terraform, Github actions, Playwright
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies and development of tests
