Apply to find out more. About you:  As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our applications. You will work independently on various tasks and collaborate closely with other engineers, contributing to the overall success of the Agile squad. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code, participating in design discussions, mentoring junior engineers, ensuring comprehensive unit test coverage, and applying SOLID principles, design patterns, SQL, stored procedures, and Azure services in your work. You will also be involved in identifying, managing, and reducing technical debt within the codebase. Success in this role requires the ability to take initiative on projects and work effectively as part of a team Day-to-day, you will:  Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to support business logic and application performance. Utilise Azure services, such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps, to support the development, deployment, and scaling of applications. Collaborate with the team to automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes using Azure DevOps. Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and SQL best practices to ensure the code is scalable, maintainable, and flexible. Work both independently and collaboratively within the Agile team to achieve project milestones. Your skills and experiences might also include:  Strong proficiency in C#, the .NET Framework and object-oriented programming.Solid experience with AngularJS, and modern web development practices. Proven experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.Familiarity with WCF and service-oriented architecture (SOA). Experience with unit testing frameworks such as: NUnit, xUnit or MSTest.Strong experience with SQL and stored procedures, including query optimisation.
