• You write clear & self-documenting code, organises methods and classes appropriately. Able to refactor existing code to improve readability. Good understanding of technical and commercial drivers when making decisions on refactoring.

• You genuinely care about quality; collaboratively work with your team-mates to embed quality wherever possible
Day-to-day:
• Develop new industry-leading products in collaboration with our product, development and content teams by using a range of languages and technologies such as:
o C#
o ASP.Net Core, ASP.NET 4+, ASP.Net MVC
o REST
o SQL
o Entity Framework
o Web API
o React
o Javascript, jQuery, Typescript
• Build new and improve existing cutting edge SaaS products
As a well-rounded Developer, your Skills and Experiences likely include:
Essential:
• Demonstrate a positive approach
• Genuine interest in learning/implementing best practices of software development techniques, including specific approaches for SaaS and web based products
• Attention to detail
• Willing to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment
• Able to prioritise a demanding workload
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Desire to work with a highly successful team to achieve the deadlines to deliver product releases
• Show a commitment to self-development and lifelong learning
• Be confident with debugging of web applications
• Minimum 2 years of commercial development experience, ideally full-stack
• Knowledge of range of languages and technologies such as:
o C#
o ASP.Net Core, ASP.NET 4+, ASP.Net MVC
o SQL
o Entity Framework
o Web API
o HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery
Desirable:
• REACT knowledge/experience
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps Continuous Integration & Deployment
• Awareness of security best practices in software development
