Social Media Manager 

Job Purpose: 

DesignMyNight (part of the Access Group) is looking to recruit an experienced Social Media Manager to take over all social media accounts and to drive our strategy across the UK and Ireland, which means looking after a whopping 22 cities. We need someone who lives and breathes all things social and who has a real passion for not only social media but the hospitality industry. We want someone who is creative and who can think outside the box to help grow and engage our audiences through advertising strategy, excellent copywriting, and new campaign ideas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Be at the forefront of our social media advertising strategy - and lead execution to achieve KPIs and monthly, quarterly and YTD targets. 
  • Creating engaging on brand and exciting copy across all social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram Tik Tok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Researching (and in some cases creating) imagery for all social media platforms
  • Scheduling all social media posts 
  • Create and implement new projects to help improve conversion rates
  • Liaising with various teams within the company to support Access Collins and Access Tonic clients (creating marketing plans) alongside DesignMyNight-run campaigns
  • Growing social media followers, engagement and reach across the board (paid and organically) 
  • Pitching feature and blog ideas specifically for social media to the Editorial Team 
  • Measure / maximise and implement plans using the latest technology and digital dashboards
  • Responding to all customer queries on social media platforms 
  • Report on data, results, and budget to Divisional Marketing Manager 
  • Video creation. Creating DesignMyNight branded videos from start to finish copywriting, editing, cameo for on-site production, liaising with videographer, clients, handling invoices, working with internal teams to market videos 
  • Video creation for reels using a high-quality phone camera
  • To be a keeper and protector of the DesignMyNight brand and tone of voice 
  • Building relationships with PR firms, influencers, clients, venues, and events to ensure we are the first media to post trending content before anyone else
  • Coming up with exciting new ideas and creative ways to engage and grow our audiences 
  • Manage paid social budgets and accurately track performance against budget spent
  • Be a trusted source of information and advances in search marketing and social advertising for all relevant channels
  • Work with internal Editorial and Account Management teams to ensure paid promotion activities are at highest possible conversion opportunity. 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in paid media hands-on management roles
  • Proven experience AND success executing multi-channel digital marketing plans in either B2C or B2B environment
  • The ability to write quick, engaging, and snappy copy in a matter of minutes
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts at once and driving content strategy  
  • Track record of hitting targets and numbers driven to achieve goals tied to revenue
  • Proven experience managing paid media plans to deliver revenue and understand buyer journey across website and multiple channels.
  • Knowledgeable around the latest algorithmic changes for all social platforms 
  • A keen eye for sourcing exceptional imagery and video content that will grab our users’ attention 
  • Analytically minded with the ability to drill down into advertising results and apply learnings to future campaigns 
  • Highly skilled when it comes to Facebook + Instagram advertising strategies eg AB testing, cost control, building audiences etc  
  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strategic and hands on – able to develop strategy/tactics and drive execution
  • Ability to take initiative
