This position is for a .NET full stack Senior Software Engineer to be part of a growing development team distributed across multiple geographies. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will learn and grow both technically and professionally whilst contributing to the design and enhancement of our quality, user-focused, responsive web applications in the Payments sector.
You will have accountability for ensuring our software meets business requirements and aligns with technology and governance standards and ensure delivery of on-time, quality solutions.

• You have a good understanding of source code management best practices (using Git), and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• You have direct experience working with delivery pipelines, contributing to a shared codebase
• You display a strong proactive attitude.
Technical Requirements
• Required experience:
o Strong skills in developing high quality .NET web applications (preferably .NET 8)
o Proficient in C#, LINQ, EF Core, Logging, DI
o Experienced with unit testing frameworks (preferably xUnit)
o REST APIs, JSON, SOLID principles, Clean Code conventions
o Relational DBs (preferably MSSQL)
o Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
o Versioning control – GIT
o Proficient in using various tools for debugging applications across all their layers.
• Desirable experience:
o React (preferably React 18+), JS, TypeScript.
o Exposure to state management in React applications or react-query (tanstack-query)
o Working knowledge with cloud technologies from Azure: KeyVault, API Management , App Service, Azure SQL, Functions, etc.
o Exposure to a variety of .NET libraries (FluentValidation, SignalR, Polly, Swagger, etc)
o DDD, Architectural patterns, performance & security optimizations
o Agile methodologies
o Docker
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop software solutions to meet agreed acceptance criteria and stories using a range of languages and technologies. Ensures dev standards are established, known and followed within the agile team.
• Actively participate in requirements analysis: highlight omissions and gaps; proactively contribute to discussions and understand the scope, risk and complexity of changes by challenging and providing feedback to the stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse, identify and fix the root cause of defects, using debugging techniques and tools.
• Identify and execute refactoring when needed, focusing on maintainability.
• Implementation and/or management of CI Pipelines, build tools, environments and management/execution of Production releases.
• Management of/contribution towards effective source control, ensuring isolation and ability to manage multiple branches.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and direction to other members of the Engineering team
• Quality focussed approach, including good planning, branching strategy, early defect discovery, code reviews, unit testing where appropriate and collaboration with the QA team.
• Ensure value is achieved through engineering by understanding customer requirements, identifying dependencies and risk and clearly communicating and escalating where appropriate.
