As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you will become one of the first members of the QA team to support our passionate Product Development Team with the Product testing (Manual and Automation Testing).
You will be working with our development team to define the QA strategies through detailed but easy to follow test plans.
In performing your tasks you will work with a team of QA specialists by using a variety of testing tools, formats and learning the best practices that we follow. (Automation testing through Playwright).
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
Problem Solving:
- Collaborate with team members to clarify requirements and develop effective test strategy.
- Optimise testing by focussing on areas with the most potential for improvement.
Testing:
- Develop and run automation tests to ensure code reliability.
- Conduct manual testing, creating and executing test cases for comprehensive coverage.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to address and resolve software defects.
Consultation:
- Provide guidance and consult with QA team members on testing tasks.
- Collaborate with QA to ensure a cohesive approach to testing processes.
- Collaborate and provide guidance to the Team on QA Best Practices and be a Software Quality Champion for the Team and Product
Learning and Collaboration:
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to technical discussions.
- Embrace a culture of continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends and new technologies.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for effective knowledge transfer.
Skills, knowledge, experience & qualifications:
Must Have:
- Minimum 5+ years of QA experience, with proficiency in both manual and automated testing.
- Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts.
- Knowledge of at least one test automation framework such as Playwright, Katalon, Selenium etc.
- Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Coding experience in Python and/or Typescript (React).
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Experience with Playwright is a plus.
